Come see Rooted at Portland Stage Company running from November 4th through November 22nd. Weeknight showings at 7:30pm, weekend matinees at 2:00pm and 3:30pm (depending).

Underneath the humor, there is an invitation to look more closely at this beautiful world we inhabit and take time to discover small moments of wonder.”

Emery doesn’t like people, she likes plants instead! She broadcasts her plant experiments from her treehouse and develops a large online following. One day her sister, Hazel, comes home to find Emery’s online success has gone viral, with fnas congregating in their backyard. To Emery this celebrity is a bother, but Hazel sees the possibilities behind these true believers…

When one follower enters the treehouse the three find themselves at a crossroads inviting us to join them as they explore what we know, where we put our faith, and the impact of the seeds we sow.
