About this event

Join the Office of Student Accessibility, SWAG, & the DSA for a presentation, conversation, and Q&A with author and disability advocate Jake Marrazzo!

Jake, who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, has travelled the U.S. presenting at symposiums and rare disease conferences, bringing awareness to his condition and to the experiences of other people who have rare diseases and disabilities.

Jake is a recent graduate of Wheaton College Massachusetts, and he is also a children’s book author, a writer, a creator, a lecturer, and previously led the 4 Jake’s Sake Charitable Foundation, a group dedicated to helping other families impacted by Duchenne.

Jake’s impact on the rare disease community is immeasurable, and we invite you to join him for a conversation about how you can define your life’s purpose by finding inspiration in your identity, whomever you may be, and however you may identify.

Listed by Bowdoin College (Localist), gathered by the Portland events calendar.
