Don’t throw your jack-o-lanterns and guards in the trash! Bring them to Portland’s Annual “Pumpkin-Cycle” event instead. On Saturday, November 7th chuck your pumpkins and guards at Payson Park Little League Parking lot anytime between 10AM and 1PM. From there, the Portland Sustainability Office will send them off to Garbage to Garden to be composted. The event is free, open to all, and folks are welcome to bring as many pumpkins and guards as they’d like.
