Justin Merle in Concert featuring Hadley Johnson & The Old North

About this event

Join New England singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist Justin Merle for a special evening at The Hill Arts. Blending heartfelt storytelling, warm vocals, and folk-country influences, Justin’s live shows are personal, engaging, and rooted in honest songs and memorable stories. Settle in for an intimate night of original music, acoustic performances, and the kind of genuine connection that makes live music special. Justin will be joined by The Old North and Hadley Johnson. The Old North is an Americana music project led by singer/songwriter Andrew O’Keeffe, based in Portland, Maine. After spending several years based in Boston as a trio, the project gradually spread across the East Coast, with Andrew spending a few years in Atlanta before relocating to Maine last year. As he began rebuilding The Old North within Portland’s music community, an unexpected breakthrough came with the demo “Come September,” which has now surpassed 5.5 million views across social media and was released as a single this past July. Hadley Johnson is a prolific singer/songwriter with a musical background in violin, trumpet, voice, guitar and piano. The Old North | 7:00–7:25 P.M. Hadley Johnson | 7:30–8:00 P.M.
