- ➤ Governor Janet Mills warned that planned cuts to Social Security could harm older Mainers and people with disabilities—union members say staffing cuts may delay benefits for over 355,000 recipients while proposals to close offices add to the concerns. WGME
- ➤ Good Shepherd Food Bank will face a 50% cut in its USDA food supply on April 1 when it receives 250,000 pounds instead of the usual 500,000 pounds, which could affect its service to hungry Mainers.
