  • Former South Portland star JP Estrella scored six points and grabbed four rebounds in 19 minutes as Tennessee beat Iowa State 76-62 on Friday night in Chicago. The Volunteers advanced to the Elite Eight and will face top-seeded Michigan in the Midwest Region final.  Portland Press Herald
  • The Maine Mariners won their fourth consecutive game on Saturday afternoon at home against the Greensboro Gargoyles as Max Andreev scored first and Jacob Hudson secured the winning power play goal, bringing their streak to 16 wins in 18 games.  WMTW
