- ➤ Mainers can apply for the Corporal Eugene Cole Scholarship Fund—open to anyone pursuing a career in law enforcement or service—by April 20. The award, worth more than $5,000, honors the officer who was shot in Norridgewock in 2018. WGME

- ➤ Portland Harbor dredging is now complete after clearing 40 marine sites and restoring 10,000 linear feet of berthing; the city moved 45,000 cubic yards of sediment into a new CAD cell (Maine's first) and will resume work next winter at South Portland marinas, East End Beach, and Maine Yacht Center.
