- ➤ Lawmakers on Friday at the Housing and Economic Development Committee heard from renters, advocates, landlords and developers urging passage of bills designed to protect tenants and boost housing production—proposals include a $25 million fund to keep an eviction-prevention program running and measures to ease construction regulations.
