- ➤ Jennifer Lynn Titus, a 5’5” woman with blonde hair and hazel eyes, was reported missing from Cape Elizabeth around midnight Thursday while wearing denim shorts and an olive shirt—police ask anyone with information to call Detective Ben Davis at 207-767-3323 Ext 226. Portland Press Herald

- ➤ South Portland's school board chair, Molly Schen, resigned with over two years left in her term after citing disagreements that affected her health—she said the board was focused on micromanaging instead of policy. City council will decide next Tuesday whether to appoint a replacement before the November municipal election, following a similar recent resignation by the superintendent. FOX23

- ➤ Eight new firefighters got their badges at a Portland High School ceremony Friday after nine weeks of tough fire and EMS training, and they will start their first shift Monday. The firefighters join the Portland Fire Department to help with emergency services. WGME

- ➤ Ticks are active all year and Maine is seeing higher numbers of dog ticks, so Portland residents should check their skin and pets after spending time outdoors. Sam Telford from Tufts University said removing any tick within 24 hours—using tweezers for a close grasp—can lower the risk of Lyme disease. WMTW
- ➤ Northern Light Health said that a data breach with vendor Compu-Medics may have exposed patients' names, birth dates, medical record numbers and sleep study results but not social security, health or financial details—patients are advised to review their healthcare statements for unusual activity.
