- ➤ Friends of Casco Bay invites community members to join a cleanup at Back Cove Trail on Monday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Volunteers will receive gloves and bags — with closed-toe shoes and reusable water bottles recommended — to help remove marine debris and microplastics from the coastal area. - ➤ Portland officials will vote next week at City Council and planning board meetings on a moratorium that may stop plans for a new 3,300-seat music hall by Live Nation and Mile Marker Investments.
