- ➤ On Flagstaff Lake in Eustis, a 2024 Sea-Doo Switch recalled in February for instability flipped last weekend with seven people aboard—three women died, no one wore a life jacket, and rescue crews performed CPR as the crash is under investigation. WGME
- ➤ A Jeep crashed through the Maine Pines Racquet and Fitness building on Harpswell Road in Brunswick at 9:40 a.m., injuring two people when it smashed a wall, crossed four tennis courts, and flew through the lobby, causing witnesses to flee—while emergency crews took hours to remove the totaled vehicle and treat a customer hit by flying glass and a 72-year-old driver from Gray. - ➤ Portland chef Declan Perry, 27, who worked at The Grill Room & Bar since he was a teenager, was found dead outside a hospital in Massachusetts last month—police said he had injuries consistent with strangulation—while a Massachusetts man has been charged with his murder. Portland Press Herald
