- ➤ Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows held a press conference on Monday to address security measures for absentee voting after a Newburgh woman reported receiving hundreds of blank ballots in an Amazon package—her office immediately launched an investigation as early in-person voting began. - ➤ Maine voters have been able to vote in-person absentee since Oct. 6 for the Nov. 4 election—with the final day to request ballots on Oct. 30.
