About this event
This lap-sit Storytime is designed specifically for our youngest patrons ages 0-18 months & their caregivers. Baby Storytime lasts about 20-30 minutes and aims to introduce the very basics of early literacy while providing a safe space for babies & caregivers to learn and explore together. This session features lots of bounces, songs, and familiar rhymes in between readings of 1-2 short books, usually with simplistic & repetitive text. There will be lots of opportunities for babies to interact with both books & manipulatives (like scarves & egg shakers), and lots of opportunities for caregivers to interact and bond with baby! Storytime is always followed by open-play and a chance for caregivers to connect!
