Show Posters 101: Using Graphic Design to Promote Your Play

About this event

With the prevalence of AI in our lives, it’s increasingly important to place value in art created by our friends and neighbors. In this workshop, students will learn the basics of creating posters and graphics to promote their shows and companies. While the focus will be on theatrical plays, participants will learn tools that they’ll be able to apply to a number of different design endeavors, from local events to corporate flyers and presentations. By utilizing tools and assets available in user-friendly programs like Adobe Express and Canva, students will be able to create eye-catching and informative posters for their future projects.
