About this event

Welcome to the world of Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP), where scraps of fabric come together to create blocks with crisp corners - no stress or starch required!

Whether you're learning FPP for the first time or looking to brush up on your skills, we will work together to create 6-inch blocks using the traditional foundation paper piecing method. Our goal is to complete at least two blocks during class.

Each participant will receive a packet of 12 pre-printed FPP patterns, with two copies of each design. We will work from these patterns during class, and the remaining copies are for you to take home to keep practicing and building your new skills. You will also receive a handout filled with helpful tips and resources for discovering even more FPP patterns online.

Come ready to learn, experiment, and stir up your creativity!

About Lynn Gorham: My sewing journey began about 10 years ago when, on a whim, I bought a new sewing machine and signed up for a couple of classes at a local quilt shop. Along the way, I’ve explored FPP, traditional piecing, appliqué, improv, collage quilting, and one of my favorites which is machine embroidery. I love trying new techniques and seeing where my creativity takes me. Follow me on Instagram @EllemgeeHouse , where I share projects that I’m working on and for some inspiration to create some joy in your own sewing space every day.
