If you've got a West Coast trip in mind, United is adding 20 more roundtrip flights between the Portland International Jetport and California for summer 2027, the Jetport announced Monday. That's a 65% increase over this past summer, when United launched the first direct commercial service between Maine and California. Demand was high enough that five extra weeks were added to the San Francisco flights this year.
