Market Basket opens its fourth Maine store in Scarborough on Friday

If you shop in Scarborough, tomorrow's a big day. Market Basket is set to open its new store Fri., Nov. 6 at The Downs. It's the chain's fourth Maine location, joining Topsham, Westbrook and Biddeford, and Scarborough's third major grocery store.

The store is the first anchor retailer in The Downs Town Center, and it's expected to create approximately 300 jobs. Q106.5 says the chain was recently ranked as the second-best grocery store chain in the country for the second straight year.
