World Day of Remembrance is an annual, international event held on the third Sunday of November to honor those who have been killed or seriously injured in traffic crashes, and to demand action for safer streets.
BCM is hosting an evening forum from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Portland Downtown’s Conference Center (87 Center Street, Portland, ME).
We welcome loved ones of victims of traffic violence to speak out and share their stories. Each year, traffic crashes result in lives lost, grieving families, and communities forever changed. The event will conclude with a call to action on how you can effect change to help our community reach zero traffic fatalities.
