The Head is not the Star of the Body

About this event

Cassie Wang's gorgeous investigation into yearning sets six dancers in motion to the music of Big Thief, with the audience seated on opposite sides to witness both the dance and one another. Generative video and projection weave through a performance that is intimate, nostalgic, and tender. Following the Saturday show, ticket holders are invited to a free reception and reflection workshop in the Mechanics' Hall Library.
